Verbal reasoning is almost as much about performance management as it is about knowledge. Practice is key to performing well in a test environment, as familiarity with question types is extremely advantageous. We practice verbal reasoning a lot and encourage children to read statements more than once. We teach our students to stay calm, and to make no assumptions. As your child’s confidence grows, they’ll want to do more of these tests as they are challenging but fun. Improved speed and scores will reinforce their confidence.
